A long time ago, when I was doing reviews and what not for BacStagepass.com I was sent a disc from the band Lordi. At that time I was not impressed. I passed it on to my colleague for reviewing. I just couldn't give the band a chance. Well, today in search of some new music, I came across Lordi and decided to give them another listen. I listened to Hard Rock Hallelujah and it had potential. I listened to the entire "Live" version first and then to the video. I am pleased to say that this evening, I am a fan of the song!

Where have I been?
So I decided tonight that I am going to try and catch up on my reviews from places I have been, seen, and ate at. I have published reviews on Yelp, Tripadvisor, Restaurant.com, Google, and OpenTable.com. Haven't done a whole lot but did a good 15 - 20 of them! SO much more to come!
Realized that I have been to 15 countries in just 4 years! That is absolutely crazy! Especially for my age and financial state! Pretty damn amazing if you ask me!
Travel blog is coming next! Gotta try and update from my first time out of the country and go from there! Looking forward to leading a cyber review life. Something I dabbled with here and there but started to do more often for the past year or so. I sometimes find that reviews are helpful whether I listen to them or not is an entirely different story!
Till my next entry, hopefully not too far into the future...

Brazil Grill in New York
Brazil Grill in New York: Get Discounted Gift Certificates, Menus and Info | Restaurant.com
This establishment advertises ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT 10 DIFFERENT MEATS for $34.95/pp on Saturdays! Sounds reasonable and great, right? Well, it's false advertisement. First of all, there is only 7 meats not 10. HA! All-you-can-eat is not what it is. You get the 7 meats and then the meat is gone. Staff acts like they don't understand you when they come over and ask if you are finished and you tell them no and they take away your plates and turn your topper to RED. Really? $2.80 for a soda and no refills, not that the staff informs you of this but you realize it when you are charged for every single refill. They state they have a salad bar, well, that's a joke. It's a table with three hot items and a salad bar with a bunch of empty dishes. There is no labels on the salad bar, so you have no clue what they think they are offering and the pans are practically empty with just scrapings. Absolutely disgraceful.
Also, the supposed ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT is located "downstairs" in other words, basement, which, hey it's NYC basements are utilized for many restaurants, however, this basement actually looks like a basement. Decor is, well..non existent.
Great location but not worth the money or your time.
I gave them a star, but honestly, they don't even deserve that. The only thing that was good was the Top Sirloin and I had a small sliver of it because I like well done and they never returned. Also, the Manjar Ameixas (coconut pudding in a plum sauce) was incredible. That dessert deserved 5 stars. So if you want something sweet, come here and get that, but other than that, pass! It is horrible!

That Championship Season on Broadway
Saw "That Championship Season" on Broadway in NYC last night! It stars Kiefer Sutherland, Chris Noth, Jason Patric, Brian Cox and Jim Gaffigan! The acting was amazing! Brian Cox deserves a Tony for his performance!
The beginning was slightly slow but picked up. There were many funny lines in the script that kept the audience laughing. The actors were absolutely amazing, although some didn't feel too comfortable in their parts yet, but this is why they call it "previews" and last night was the 2nd night of previews.
All in all, I enjoyed the show and found the acting to be brilliant. Definitely deserves a Tony Nomination and Brian Cox ruled the stage and definitely made the show.
At the stage door after the show, Jason Patric came out within 30 minutes to sign autographs and take photos. He was out there for a good 15 minutes. Brian Cox came out next and signed autographs and took photos for about 30 minutes. Kiefer Sutherland came out next and did the same as well as chatted with a few fans that asked questions and made comments. He was full of smiles and rather friendly. Moved quickly through the lines of people waiting for autographs but stayed out for a good 10-15 minutes. Last to come out was Jim Gaffigan who signed for about 5 minutes. Chirs Noth did a disappearance act when Kiefer Sutherland came out, I believe, as we saw the "Door Guy" go over to the other doors and a mob of people ran over. Rather upset that Chris Noth couldn't sign autographs or take photos for 2 minutes no matter what he had or didn't have to do. Not very fan friendly, I guess. If the rest of the cast can make time for a few minutes to meet their fans and sign autographs, there was no reason why he couldn't. Totally bummed out! Thanks for Kiefer and the rest of the cast to be so "Fan Friendly" and for Brian Cox to go above and beyond with staying out so long in the freezing cold to make sure everyone's playbill, photos, etc were signed! Huge Kudos to you Brian for your performance and your "fan friendliness"!
Tip: Make sure you bring your own Sharpie because the actors don't come with them. Bring a few in case they borrow it and forget to return it! ;) Besides, you want something signed you should be prepared for it! =)
That Championship Season is a limited engagement and performed at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre on W 45th Street in NYC. Check out the official website for more information: http://www.thatchampionshipseason.com/
Even if you aren't crazy about the story line, check it out as the acting is definitely worth seeing!

In much need a vacation!
I am so very sick of the snow that we are getting hit with this year. It's pretty and all but come on...this has been going on since December 26, 2010! Let's move on with it already.
I'm in major need a vacation! I would like to take a cruise but at the same time I would like to just go somewhere warm and sunny! My sister, Tanya, has been in search of winning a vacation and it somewhat rubbed off on me. I love traveling and I subscribe to just about every travel magazine out there and guess what? I'm entering all these freaking sweepstakes for free vacations! LOL It would be awesome to win something!
If only I was rich. I would be on vacation every other week to every other month. It would be awesome. Travel the world and back! If only I was rich...
